Feature Focus: Clinic Performance Tracking
How Soltech helps you track and improve your performance, so your clinic gets the maximum payment
Forty percent (40%) of a YAKAP clinic’s payment comes from the tranche 1 payment – for the first patient encounter. Sixty percent (60%) of YAKAP clinics’ PhilHealth payment comes from the performance score. Failing to understand how this works can lead to lost revenue.
We wrote a post on how YAKAP tranche payments work explaining how the performance score works. But understanding the score is only half the picture. Clinics need to track their own performance score, and take steps to improve it – so they can get the full PhilHealth payment.
That’s why we at Soltech built a clinic performance tracker to help clinics track their performance scores and identify what to do to improve it.
How it works
The performance tracker has 2 parts: Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 tracker
The tranche 1 tracker identifies which patients are registered to your clinic, but have not done their first patient encounter (FPE) yet.
The action here is to invite these patients to come to the clinic to do their FPE, which automatically gives your clinic its 40% for the tranche 1 payment.

The tranche 2 tracker computes your clinic's score for the four components of the performance score. Each component measures what percentage of your patients have received a certain service from your clinic.
For each component, the tracker shows:
- How far your clinic is from receiving full points
- Which patients are still missing or lacking that service
By offering that service to the patient, you can boost your clinic’s performance score – and get paid more by PhilHealth.
